The main types of inorganic thermal insulation mortar include expanded perlite insulation mortar and vitrified microsphere insulation mortar. Expanded perlite insulation mortar is characterized by larger material particles, higher water absorption, and higher thermal conductivity. In contrast, vitrified microsphere insulation mortar features smaller material particles, minimal water absorption, lower thermal conductivity, better insulation performance, and properties such as fire resistance and resistance to insect and ant erosion.
